Smart Pure Sanitizer Ii

I have a Smart pure Sanitizer II, which uses salt water to produce chlorine for my swimming pool. The inspect cell light turns on about every 7 months regardless whether the cell has hard water build up or not. When the inspect cell light turns on the Sanitizer stops producing chlorine. How do I turn off the cell light without having to call the pool company for maintenance repair? The repairs only take minutes but the cost for turning off the light is outrageous.

Stand over the pool guys shoulder next time to see what he does.

Don't know anything bout your Cl generator, but one particular brand i do service has a inspect cell warning come up every 30 days or so and you just cycle a switch and it goes out. See what your manual says about this.

The manuel does not cover how to turn off the inspect cell light. Since the generator was not producing chlorine I had no other choice but to call the pool company for service. I got lucky this time. The pool guy walked me through it over the phone. After I answered several questions pertaining to the salt levels, ph levels, and cell condition ensuring there was no other reason for the inspect light to come on, he simply said to hold in the display button until the inspect cell light tuned off. He said this will occur approximately evey 500 hours for cell quality assurance.
