24 Hour Recirc Necessary?

15 amp jet pump moving 40 gpm on low running 4 hours a day equals 60 amp hours and 9600 gallons moved. 2 amp pump running for 24 hours moving 3 gpm equals 48 amp hours and moved 12,960 gallons. Depends on the system. In order to make any calculations we have to know gpm, pump amp draw, length of filter time. Either way works fine but a 24/7 circ pump usually is a small money saver. And they have a noise advantage. And with an ozonatator the longer it is injected into the water the better it works.

Sure, it's a Thermospa Aquacisor. Holds like 650 gallons. The recirc is pretty strong and heater is in line with it.

Uses a Balboa TS8000M3 spa pack.

It's set to turn all pumps on twice a day (for like 10 min) to freshen up the stagnate water in lines I guess.

Just seems like the constant recirc is unnecessary.
