  1. Hello, I live in the Cambridge Ontario area, and bought a Tundra in August, its been great so far, no complaints, very comfortable, I find the seating being at different levels great for my family, I bought the designer series which is quite basic, has the air bubbles which I use a lot more than i thought i would and im in it almost every night no matter how cold its been. They should have one at the upper james location in hamilton, you could still buy it from your local guy. Sorry not to chatty tonight for more details, just had a baby a week ago (my wife did, i just watched lol) any specific questions you may pm me.
  2. Maybe your buying the wrong tubs if the floor is lasting longer than the tub? maybe its time to open your mind to new and better designs.... , poor all the concrete you want, who cares really if you feel you must then do it...its hard to believe your in the industry servicing units when you say stupid things like the floor on any brand will outlast the tub and that the Forever Floor is a useless gimmick, you probably think all tires are the same too because there round and made of rubber... and Wes didnt ask you to convince him of anything, he has an opinion, you have an opinion, I have an opinion, thats what this place is for to argue about opinions in front of prospective tub buyers, most people are smart enough to take opinions do a little research on the net look at the tubs in person and make a decision, we all can agree on some things but seem to disagree on most that wont change, isnt this fun!
  3. This is a good point, they dont call them portable for nothing, lol
  4. What will a concrete pad do for you compared to a solid fiberglass bottom? I would say you would have to be more fussy about the ground under concrete so it doesnt crack, for me, my Tundra is on the same gravel bed as the pavers around my pool area, which when i placed the pavers up to the tub it looks like it was made for it!, if the ground is good for the concrete its good for the forever floor save your $500.00 for the around the tub area, steps, walkway whatever....
  5. I see all kind of worthless dribble, I guess because it was a response to something he said it got deleted? No further comment needed, right! O what the heck if you can dish it out and cant take a simple comment and have the almighty power to delete you shouldnt moderate. If for some reason the post was never placed do to a system error, my apologies is there a way to find out ???
  6. Could of sworn i posted here yesterday? seems to be missing.....
  7. Have you looked at the coyote? Arctic junior basically... just a thought
  8. I will get bashed for this, hold your pants guys, Wes is sure to give you his findings as well, I bought an Arctic Tundra, which in my opinion is one of the nicest built tubs on the market, its has four corner seats of various height (or depth) to accomodate most family's quite well as well as 3 various height side wall seats for kids or cooling off, Ive had it since the end of August and love it so far, I could get into all the details but its best to visit ther site and find a dealer close to you to check it out, some say there way more expensive but I have to disagree there models come with different jet packages and features in each model.
  9. That book is $29.95, looks like a buck a page, your right when you said you "dont get what you paid for" lol unless you change your name to Jim Speilberg Im sorry that wasnt very nice, Roger annoyed me in another post, Thinks cause I like my Arctic I shouldnt say anything to anyone I guess.
  10. Welcome AlpineGirl! I live in Ontario and chose the Arctic after doing alot of research it fit my needs the best, I prefer the heatloc method that they use and how it can stay unfrozen, pumps plumbing etc if the power went out for an extended period of time, one note to you is that everyone here like there tub the best, to really decide you have to go shopping, look and test if you like, buying a hot tub is like buying a used car, there is alot of BS, shady salesmen, especially here on this site lol. I didnt take to long for the negatives to come rolling in, as you can see i must of annoyed Roger as it seems in the next post, I am just giving an opinion Roger sheesh, I too thought you were different maybe you had a bad Friday the 13th, take a pill. And by the way I didnt know Arctic had a bad rap, could you point it out somewhere???
  11. Comparable tubs Arctic vs another, Arctic may cost 5 to 10 % more saying it cost $5k more means you bought a much better tub then your buddy and maybe you should have decided what you wanted before you bought it, and btw are you typing as fast as you can or is your spelling really that bad? I read your 2 other posts Hey I thought you said you had an Arctic??? whats this post telling everyone?? NY/CT hot tubs wrote I live in Glens cove NY and i bout my spa from Northernspas.com and they have great prices and i didnt have to pay sales tax they have a show room in CT and they let me try the spa before i bought it wich was great they even deliverd the spa to my back yard for free and i paid thousands less and got what i think is one of the best spas on the market. Dont you hate it when people lie!
  12. I think the point was in a market as big as CHicago, you think Cal would see they arent moving enough tubs through those dealers that Wes was probably reffered to from Cal? if there not moving enough tubs find better representation in that city, if the dealer isnt getting support from the company for the product of course he will try to sell something else, or try not to sell it because he knows its a headache coming.
  13. I was just tweaking you a bit lol, Im happy with my Arctic, so when someone shoots a negative im going to tweak them a bit.
  14. . No problem, the more i read the more i see your point.
