  1. Sorry about that but it is good to hear that everything is fine with you now.
  2. I hope everything is well in your part now and hope your spa is helping you relax rather than stress factor.
  3. If it were me I would call the provider immediately. It has a warranty right?
  4. "It's not just dangerous to you, but to any metal in the pool shed. They should seal that container." Pardon me sir but if it is dangerous to any metal in the pool shed, it should be much dangerous to us human, right?
  5. How did it go with your spa? Everything all right now?
  6. This is a little troublesome for obvious reason that whenever we inhale chlorine it goes directly to our blood stream. When chlorine is added to our water it reacts with other natural compounds to form Trihalomethanes which are by-products of chlorine. These by-products produce free radicals in the body, which trigger cell damage, and are highly carcinogenic. The Environmental Defense Fund states that: “Although concentrations of these carcinogens (THMs) are low, it is precisely these low levels that cancer scientists believe are responsible for the majority of human cancers in the United States.” According to review of available research (and there is a lot of it) by Marywood University confirms that long-term exposure to chlorinated pools can cause symptoms of asthma in swimmers. This can affect athletes who were previously healthy, especially adolescents. Additionally, eye and skin irritation in swimmers has been hypothesized to originate from chlorine exposure. Also, New York University College of Dentistry lists swimming pool chlorine as one of the factors that causes tooth enamel erosion. In conclusion, too much exposure in pool chlorine is bad for your health in the long run. If you want to avoid this, try alternative methods such as silver-copper ion generators and salt water. 7. Thanks guys, I have the same problem and finally it's over now. This forum is so helpful!
  8. My advice is to replace all your valves that connects to your spa. Believe me it will work 100%
  9. I just want to clarify crandaddy, the SN2 code came up but what about the temperature? Is there any problem with temperature?
  10. Squizzaroo, how is it going with you now? Everythings fine buddy? Hope you're enjoying your spa.
  11. "Is the potassium peroxymonosulfate ("non-chlorine oxidizing shock") going to be good for anything?"As I understand it, potassium peroxymonosulfate is ussually used for clearing water, thus allowing chlorine to work to sanitize the water rather than clarify the water, resulting in less chlorine needed. Hope this helps.
  12. Hmmm... How can you say condensation? I don't think so but if the equipment has holes for water to come in then that may be the case. But I don't think that's the case because condensation happens in a cold surface, and you said it cold outside. Basically, if the equipment is cold and it's hot outside then condensation is perhaps the right answer.
