  1. Hi All, This is a continuing saga. So we recently bought a house with a 2002+ Tiger River spa. I was having an issue getting it started (just flashing the power light) and found a suggestion on a blog that suggested the heater (Watkins 6kw, the new style) might be the issue. If I disconnect the power and wait 5 to 10 minutes I can get the pumps and blower to turn on for about 10 seconds then it just shuts down again to the flashing power button. Going into the IQ2020 box If I pull the wire coming from the body of the heater (one on the far right), recycle the power, I can get the tub to run normally, as soon as I reconnect the heater it shuts down again. Someone else suggested I check the circ pump, it felt like it was running but I wasn't seeing any flow I could detect. It had now been off for several days, wife had been running just the jets with the kids in there, that was working fine. Decided to get to the bottom of this last night. Plugged all the cables back in, reset both beakers. Heater got warm quickly then the relays on the board started clicking like mad, the circ pump began to buck (best way to describe it) and water began to pulse through the heater. Could see the air bubbles moving. Did this for about 10 seconds then the 20A breaker tripped (first time this happened). I had my son reset it as I watched, then it just dropped back into the flashing power light mode. I had then had both breaker cycled and it began the bucking behavior for about 5 seconds and threw the 20A breaker again. Based on these findings I'm not sure if I'm seeing a failing circ pump, heater, control board, or other items. Thanks!
  2. Ok, can feel the circ pump running, but definitely no flow from the drain. I reconnected the heater, now its not even getting hot. Someone else was mentioning if it was in "summer mode" the screen does show a plus sign next to that, but I cant seem to clear that and there is no lock. Wondering if I'm looking at multiple part failures?
  3. So I'm leaving the hi low sensor connected and just unplugging the one on the far right (the largest connector). If I reset the power with this disconnected everything runs (as far as I can tell). Any way to check the recirc pump?

Before I go and replace the heater is there anything else I should be checking ? Thanks!
