  1. F2 is a 2 hour filter cycle. If I am not mistaken you have a choice from 2 to 12 The time you choose will I think depend on how often its used and by the number of peopleI would also suggest you put it in standard mode if you want it ready for use any time. In Economy mode the tub only heats to set temp during the filter cycle. Standard mode will maintain set temp.Once you have set the mode thats it use the tub when done turn the jets will shut off after 15 minutes and tub will circulate on low speed or just push the massage button and thats it Hope that helps.
  2. You have mentioned 3 good brands...now the key is finding the right tub for your needs and a dealer you feel good about...get past all the marketing and sales pitches...set a reasonable budget...and have at her...the shopping experience should not be frustrating...have fun and good luck.
  3. In my opinion yes...when you take into consideration what the Hybrid includes hush pump, step, led everlight, reflex foot massage, nicer looking jets, thicker cover. All these things are added cost on the LEEP model. If you dont see any value in these items and feel the claims about energy savings are false then the LEEP model is for you...good luck. I ordered a 540 Hybrid. A couple of weeks to go. Very excited. Congrats...I hope you enjoy it.

  5. Thanks for the pics....Looks fantastic....hope your enjoying it.
  6. Teflon tape is not required on a union like that however a oring or a ribbed gasket is.
  7. CONGRATS Kanuck.....You wont be dissapointed....Great Brand...Great Tub.
  8. Congrats Tripp...You wont be dissapointed...good choice.
  9. It probably will come down to which tub is more comfortable and which dealer you feel more comfortable with..Beachcomber has been around over 30 years and Coast over 15 both are not going anywhere soon. Although Beachcomber mostly sell their Hybrid verion of tub ,they do offer the equiptment on the inside of the tub like Coast if you want it. The testing they have done claims more energy efficient on the out side. Also all the Hybrid tubs are ozone ready and can be added anytime they also offer ClearTech UV. Keep us posted and Good Luck.
  10. $6000-$6500 would be a fair deal. You will probably need a new cover soon ($499) and some some basic things like filter & jet inserts ($200) The operating cost will depend on variety of things budget $10-$20 per month plus water care products. Yes a UV light package can be added. Good luck. Let us know how everything goes.
  11. I think you have chosen 2 popular brands, both have long track records for being a quality product.Once you have tried them both I think you will find the raised dome in the floor of the Sundance model a little awkward. I personally am not a fan of pillows, they look great when new but wait a couple years.I like the entry into the Beachcomber 380 but would probably upgrade the pump if possible. The dealer part of it is very important make sure you feel comfortable and confident they can meet your exspectations.
  12. They sound a little bit high for floor models, however if your on the east coast its about an average price...I do agree with Dano to wet test them ....the foot print of the tubs are the same 80"x88" but the seating design and jetting config. are different. Good luck.
  13. I just ordered that tub yesterday. I've been looking at higher end tubs (really don't want to spend that much) and used tubs for almost as much. I figured I'd get this one for about the same price as a used but it comes with a warranty. I found the company website and thats about it. Not much else out there on them. Canadian Spa has been around for over 25 years selling around the world especially in europe through mass distribution in the UK, ( B&Q, Homebase, Costco UK, and many more) Germany, Austria, Swiserland ( Hornbach) France ( Auchan, Castorama as well as through independant dealers) In Canada we having been supplying Homedepot online for over 5 years and this year we supppied 3 models to costco Canada We have excellent products, and use the industry top suppliers. Hopefully we can be your hot tub supplier CAnadian Spa Company Someone said that the Canadian Spa Company manufactured certain models in China...is this true?
  14. Welcome Roo...Beachcomber has been manufactured in Canada for over 30 years and they build a very good product...I would suggest you dont see much mentioned on the forums as people dont have many problems with the product....The 578 is a popular model and I am surprised at a $7000 price tag its always some where around $8495-$9500 before taxes and delivery depending on options. Is the dealer having a year end clearence on floor models or is it possibly a factory second?...If not its a good price for that model.
