  1. For those that are interested, the Intellichlor was wired wrong and the flow switch failed, causing the pipes to explode. Big mess, but at least we know what happened.
  2. I need some help here. I had a strange disaster with my pool. Intellichlor cell destroyed, pipes on either side of the cell are purple, heater is damaged and the pipe to the heater blew off the mount (actually the pipe exploded). In addition, I have sand running out of the returns into the pool. It all happened after a full service by my pool tech. My wife had noticed that the pump was cycling (I saw the other posts on this - thanks). Our pool guy thinks that the chlorinator was running non stop without water flow and created a significant amount of gas that destroyed the pipes. Sand blocked the returns and thus the pressure blew out the heater and the heater pipes. Is this at all feasible? I need help as this is likely thousands to repair and I am sure that fingers will be pointed....
