  1. thanks, i will pick up some on my next trip to the city and give it a try.
  2. If so what would be the best way to eliminate the metals or magnesium?
  3. thought i would post my levels, as close as i can read them with my test strips hardness: 100-250 bromine: 10 alkalinity: 120-180 ph: 6.8-7.2 before adding muriatic acid alkalinity & ph were both higher than posted, but water was clear with slight browning around outside edge of water level (scum) thanks quad
  4. have had arctic spa for about 2 months now, have changed water 4 times now!!! thought that problem was with chemical levels, tried to adjust the best that i could, but still turned brown. got testing done at dealer that we bought spa from, and he suggested that our alkalinity was to high and he said to add muriatic acid to correct problem. ok thought this would fix problem, but just changed water yesterday, did complete flush with fresh start and rerinsed tub also and checked water chemical levels and found alkalinity still a little to high, so added more acid (about a cup), came back 2 minutes later to add some shock and water was virtually solid brown?? wth?? any help or ideas. also testing with test strips, which i hate, but dealer also uses them. ps: i am also using well water, i am in the country thanks quad
