  1. Congrats on purchase, as long as manufacturer backs it up with a decent warranty, you should be good to go. happy soaking!
  2. These are estimates on 60-65f degree water At 230volts estimate8-9hrs At 115volts estimate16-18hrs
  3. Right. i would stay away from home depot, costco spas. As far as others like guys above mentioned... Most popular, Hotsprings(happy owner!), Tiger river, Caldera, Hot spot, Solana, D1, and sundance are my top choices.
  4. You cant rebuild any of those heater unless, you start from scratch. And those relays are hard to find according to watkins techs, ive tried, but had to order new iq. But relays are out there, or something similar to them. Too bad you dont have iq2020, like chas said, just change out relay board. Oh, I did see a heater like yours on ebay, half the price. Good luck
  5. So, it ended up being a tripped tco. lol.Btw Op, hate to say, but ive seen a couple of those heaters go up in flames. I would replace it. Good deal on trombone (tribend) heater on ebay right now. Good luck
  6. ^^ I think because Amore means love in italian/spanish And OP, good luck with your choice.
  7. Whats a frog? a floater?.. Or an automated chemical dispensor
  8. Wow, thats the first time ive heard of a DE filter on a spa. I would stick with either, sand or better yet Cartridge. And avoid flow issues.
  9. Those tubs are not bad at all. I like them, easy to work on. Congrats on purchase guys
  10. Usually you twist on jet fitting. And other times you need tool for that. You can tell if there are notches around jet bezel
  11. Tstat control malfunctioning(capillary tube not communicating), hi-limit thinking its reached temp, or pressure switch acting up? G/L
  12. How about a vinyl cover, then use a tarp to protect it?
  13. You either have a bad relay board, bad thermistors, bad control head, bad pressure switch(if heater has one) or the neutral wire on wrong breaker. Was it working fine they way its wired before? Check relays any dark marks around them, sometimes you cant tell. You have to remove it.
