  1. Hi DjPILL, My Sundance dealer in Ct. is blowing out two 07 spas. They both are beautiful. An Optima and a Cameo. They both are right on the showroom. The Optima is full awaiting your wet test. There is also a BEAUTIUL Cameo nearby available for wet testing! He is located right across the pond in Seymour Ct. He has been great to me. He is called "Spa dealer from Seymour" on this forum. My wife and I have a Sundance Cameo and we couldn't be happier! Good luck..........Sean
  2. Nice job you guys!!!! How long did it take you from start to finish? What key features led you to buy that beautiful tub? What color is the acrylic? It looks perfect!! Enjoy............Sean
  3. For the cost of 4 pieces of 2x6s and some pea gravel I think you're making more work for yourself later but I'm used to epople thinking they can live with teh slope issue until they try it and pretty much always hate it. Man...........and I was concerned that we sloped our 8 ft. pad about 3/8 " for drainage. BTW........great ideas everybody. We just recieved our 08 Sundance Cameo last night. I can't wait!!!

  5. Hi Huey64, "Spa Dealer in Seymour" is blowing out an 07 Optima. Sean
  6. Panthergirl, My wife and I are looking for the privacy ideas also. We have found that most of the spa manufactures have a section on their web site for "backyard ideas" , "accessories" or "complements". Here are some from Sundance. Good luck.........Sean http://www.sundancespas.com/Accessories/Complements.html
  7. How do you folks like your Artic Spas? What specifically do you like and perhaps dislike? Our local dealer has them in Western Ct. The fit and finish looks good. The cedar skirt is just unbelieveably beautiful. Neck jets though. The models my dealer had didn't even come close to my neck. (I forgot which models) That is my biggest theraputic issue. The other models in the catalogue didn't seem to have any neck jets way up high at all . I am 5'10" and have a really long torso...............any ideas? Thanks...........Sean
  8. Hey Ivieisme, I want to thank you and everybody else here for all of the great information. My wife and I have been researching for 6 months or so. We pretty much settled on a Sundance Cameo for many reasons. Therapy, quality, fit and finish, good neck therapy (a big issue for me) and last but not least we are REALLY comfortable with the dealer! (10 miles away). Just wondering....what again did your husband and you not like about the Optima? We wet tested and really liked it. But we liked the Cameo even better because of the lounge seat and effective neck jets. I checked out Caldera several times online (our closet dealer is about 70 miles away). Are the "Atlas neck jets" above water? If so aren't they really loud? Are they strong? Just wondering. I am 5'9" and have a really looooong torso. The Cameo was the only tub that came close to hitting my neck with the neck jets. Thanks........Sean
