Hello All,
I'm sure this issue came up before, but I figured it might be easier to spell out my problem then searching.
I have a 2005 Hot Springs Sovereign. I believe there is a pin hole leak somewhere, cause the ground area right under the control panel is always wet. It's not enough to create a puddle, but the area never dries. I think I lose about 1" - 2" of water per week. I went to the local dealer, and they suggested trying Fix a Leak product by Marlig Industries. I removed the filters and added the Fix a Leak per the instruction. After about a week or so, the leak has not stopped, but now the spa is not working. The power LED and the Ready LED are now blinking. I shut the power down for few minutes and turned it back on. After turning the power back on, the power LED is solid red and the Ready LED is not on. After about 30 seconds, both power LED and ready LED are blinking. I tried this several times, but to no avail.
I emptied the tub and refilled, and went through the whole power cycle, but same blinking occurs. I measured the two thermistors, and they read16.29k Ohms and 16.80k Ohms. I didn't have a thermometer handy, so I couldn't measure the water teimp, but I just got done filling it with tap water, which could be cold after running for about an hour. I'm assuming around 60 degrees. Does the resistance sound about right? Are they close enough? If it is not the thermistors, what else could I check? How do I check to see if circ pump is working?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
