Amik
Hi to all, I'm a new owner of a spa ( 3 days of use ). I am using Brome as sanitizer and using Waterbear Brome for Beginner !! A little bit hard to adjust everything but getting the feel for it. What's the waiting time between 2 chemicals or before entering the spa. BTW the forum is great and does help a lot to have a great spa experience. Thanks for your help
chem geek
With good circulation in the spa you can just wait a few minutes between chemicals and 5 minutes before entering the spa. The water should get mixed quickly in a spa especially if after your last chemical addition you run the spa jets (though that will tend to make the pH rise. Amik
Is it normal that my pH is always rising fast and difficult to keep to 7.5 ???
chem geek
That would mean that your TA level is likely too high. Lower it or let it drop with your acid additions until the pH is more stable, but don't let the TA get below 50 ppm. If you need to keep the TA much lower than 60 ppm, then I suggest you add 50 Borates (probably using Boric Acid from DudaDiesel or The Chemistry Store).
