Tailhooker
They are touted as the largest pool builder in the US, but there have been a few less than steller reviews about them on this forum. I am in South Texas and am going between just a patio and a hot tub (Sundance) or a hot tub and a pool (separate hot tub would take down the "bling" of a pool) Does Blue Haven have issues? The Hot tub I like is at the Blue Haven dealer. Suppose I should get some quotes and then just get the tub there possibly. Experts: Any thoughts for this newbie? CINDER
As a pool builder myself we have a saying. "Don't buy a blue anything" What does "Don't buy a blue anything" mean? Sorry, I'm a newbie. Does this mean an above ground pool is a bad idea?

Experts: Any thoughts for this newbie? hopefully you have done some homework and did NOT go with blue haven. they destroyed my yard, they lowered the value of my home, left me with a snake filled mud pit for 3 years, paid off my township, so we lost a lawsuit with them. we paid for our pool twice. financially cleaned us out. this all started 5 years ago, i am still very angry. i wish i had done my homework. PoolGuyNJ
BHP is a franchised business. Some areas suck, some are quite good. The BHP that covers my area happens to do some really fine work. Bear in mind that I have no interest in BHP. I am not on their sub list, I do not receive any benefits from them, etc... I have worked on their pools for non warranty service in the past. I do know people there and some of the subs they use. I have sent them leads and seen it come to fruition, each step of the way. It hasn't hurt my reputation ever. Scott
