  1. I would never buy anything that I couldn't wet test. I had my heart set on one spa, loved the look, features, dry feel and then after I wet tested it, it wasn't what I was hoping for. The spa shows are great (unless every spa is a Master spa in disguise) to get the spa bug, but then go around and wet test and try different brands and see the stores and the people that are going to service your product if you have future problems.
  2. I in the process of putting in a pool (Salt Water) and I just bought a Hot Spring Envoy (Chlorine). Is there a water test system/strips that does both salt and chlorine? Anyone in the same boat? I am new to the water test process so any help or direction would be great.
  3. Most will say that you won't have any support if there is a failure of some sort. It would be better to get a middle tier from one of the majors (HS, Sundance, Arctic, D1, Jacuzzi, Marquis...etc)
  4. I agree that the lounge is the way to go only if it fits you. It is awesome when it fits right.
  5. If there is a sundance dealer in your area you might want to look at them you can buy a 780 series hot tub with stereo and micro filtration for the money your wanting to spend. I wet test the Cameo and found that it didn't (surprisingly) feel as good as the HS
  6. I was given a quote for a HS Envoy of $8415 w/ cover, steps and lifter plus an additional $1800 for the stereo. Does this seem fair or has anyone else got a little lower. If I go with this model I might have to skip out on the stereo although I wanted one very bad. Any thoughts?
  7. How much do those filters cost though?
  8. I got a -$500 of the $35K price today, not much of a discount but therir price is competitive.
  9. What is considered a good pool rate these days? We financed our pool with the bank that holds our mortgage. They did a construction loan for us. Found out that Paramount only works with certain pool dealers. Anyone else got any other lenders for pool financing?
  10. What is considered a good pool rate these days?
  11. I have heard of Paramount and Lyon financial.. are there any other pool financing companies that are better than the rest or that have the best rates?
  12. I am new here and just starting to get bids on a new pool. I can tell you that one company we got a quote from immediately took 15% off to try to get us to sign with them. We also have some friends getting bids and they got 15% off the price when they negotiated signing a contract. I am sure it will depend on what area you are in and how busy the companies are right now but I would try and see what they say!! Good luck Thanks... 15% may seem like a lot anyone else get close to 15% off? Anyone???
