  1. my backyard is fenced, hole #1 green is a pitching wedge away. we have a community covenant for the community and nothing in there says i can not have a spa. also have a declaration of covenants, conditions and restrictions for the comminity and again not a thing on spas. the community has a web site run by the developer and the property manangement company and on the web site is a RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY DESIGN GUIDELINES. that says not allowed above ground spas. there must be at least 3o homes with hot tubs with 900 plus homes,
  2. just got the word my new deck pavers and screen is approved by homeowners association now the bad news not allowed above ground spas (unless built into a deck system with spa flush to top of deck or an inground pool/spa comb ) . now have to hire an attorney and try to get this ruling changed. tonight i walked the golf course and took 5 pictures of hot tubs on back yard patios in the community. just wondering how they got approval and i did not. anyway now i for have to put on hold my order on the sundance altamar . i could go with an in ground sundance optima and pay twice the price. any feedback pros and cons with an in ground version.
  3. see www.spadepot.com they mention pavers and pads, and other options.
  4. you got a good deal, just did a similar purchase, sundance altamar with coastal cabinetry color, along with sahara finish . we also added the cover mate III cover for easy opening. 36 inch synthetic gray steps and a hunter green umbrella for $8157. delivery 6 to 8 weeks just wondering if we should center it on our patio or place it more toward the back right hand corner of a screened patio.
  5. i am looking at the sundance altamar for $7400 none around to wet test however i am being told the lounge seat will be fine for my height of 5"8 plus may wife is small. i did wet test the geneva and really liked it, i agree with you that the colors are limited. i really like all the color choices that sundance offers. the altamar has 35 jets and should be fine for the 2 of us for our first spa.
  6. dealers have quoted me $8900 on marquis epic vs $8799 caldera geneva .i liked both and having a tough time choosing, any imput is appreciated.
