JeffL2
Is it normal for the water level to drop inside a cartridge filter when the pump is not running? I have an 8 foot inground fiberglass spa with a large (maybe 2 foot) paper cartridge filter. When I start up the pump after it has been off for a couple of days, I can bleed some air out of the filter for several seconds. Is that normal? The spa is covered when not in use, so there is no evaperation, and there hasn't been a drop in the spa's water level, so I don't believe there is a leak.
