  1. The deck is Red Belau (Mangariis) and it is faced screwed.
  2. You will have to pour a reinforced concrete pad where the tub will sit. You will also need access to the "front" side of the tub for maintenance. You should make some removable panels in the deck. See http://picasaweb.google.com/rminsk/Patio for an example.
  3. Little Miss Moderator has been having fun this week. She also turned on the Avatars. (Notice that Chinook, our Arctic Spas mascot, is wearing a mask for Hallowe'en!) Is that who set my avitar without me knowing?
  4. Armor All dries and cracks vinyl. You have to reapply Armor All about every other month or else you get drying and cracking. Armour All is also silicone based makes the surface slick. I would avoid Armor All at all costs. Read the first review of 303 on amazon or http://www.kayakforum.com/cgi-bin/Techniqu...rames/read/9115
  5. My spa took a crane to install. The dealer also split the cost of the crane over five other crane installs he had that day.
  6. How about a choice of spa cover lifters? I had very little room for my spa and had to find a lift with minimal clearance. What is the warranty on the Costco spa? Hot springs has a 7-year surface, 5-year leak, 5-year component, 5-year heater, 5-year cabinet, 1-year stereo, and 1-year trim. The cost of spa chemicals? My dealer gives me a very big discount on my chemicals. I have checked most pool supply places within about a 10 mile radius and my dealer beats there price on almost everything.
  7. Why not? They are a private company and you are logging in using there service.
  8. I just talked to a dealer about what is going. Sundance has worked out a deal where a dealer can "rent space" at the local Costco to sell spas. The price discount for this is not all that big and the dealer is limited in what models, accessories, and colors they can offer. The dealer ends up making a bit less money because Costco takes it cut off the top. So if you see a Sundance at the local Costco it is your local dealer. Go to your local dealer and ask for the Spa at the price you see it at Costco for.
  9. What is the spacing on the joist? What sort of lumber is on the deck surface?
