Gfci Breaker/ Disconnect Install

Recommended Posts

I just need a simple "yes" or "no" answer. Can I wire up two GFCI breakers in series? One is already in my panel box (in the house) the other will be in a disconnect box as per code to distance from hot tub. It is a 220 volt spa with 6/3 wire. I used to run the spa with a 50 amp GFCI in the panel box exclusively, but am now finally hooking up a disconnect (as per code). The only reason I'm hooking up both is because the spa disconnect box came with a 50amp GFCI already in it.
