milleda31
Greetings, I have a recently acquired 2007 Clearwater Pebble Beach Signature model spa. The spa has four total pumps. Three of the pumps are Waterway PF-50-2N22C and the fourth is an always on circulation pump. My question is regarding the three Waterway pumps. I believe these are two speed pumps? The literature on the Clearwater website indicates that they could be either one or two speed. When I activate the pumps from the top side controls it appears they are only one speed. They turn on and off with single pushes of the button. On/Off. There is no On low/On high/Off. Is this normal. Can these pumps be made to operate in two speed mode. The literature seems to imply that they can. Thanks in advance for your response.
Loopcity
Grats on your new tub. It is a really nice one. It is operating as it should. If the pump sticker shows 2 different numbers for RPM or Amps, then it is a 2 speed. I believe that sometimes they would put a 2 speed pump in but have it set to only operate on one speed. I'm not sure how they do it. I could be wrong about that. If it only shows one number for RPM or Amps then it is a one speed.
