  1. OK, so after waiting 60+ years I decided to buy my first hot tub. Bought (from a dealer) a 2012 Clearwater Pearl Island with cover, cover lifter, steps, year's worth of chemicals (Spa Marvel), booster seat, extra portable head pillows with delivery and set up. After all is said and done, the cost was about the same as the Divine DL620 Deluxe (made by Clearwater) from Costco but with dealer support. Would like to know if there is anything I should be aware of or do for trouble free enjoyment in years to come. Tricks of the trade sort of speak. The tub will be placed outdoors and in an area that reaches 105* to 110*F during summer and 20* to 25*F during winter. I know the full foam story but I wanted full access to all parts of the tub with no wood whatsoever and Made in the USA! Any and all suggestions are welcomed. Thank You all for your replies.
  2. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately the $1K discount is over and the spa is now $8K. Last questions, my wife and I are not big people from 5'6" to 5'10" but my son in-law is 6'3". Any problems with fit length and depth wise? Do you float out of the lounge with pumps full boar? Thanks again for your response. If you find yourselves in Tucson AZ, send me a post and come over for a soak, beer, wine and cigars!
  3. How long have you owned the spa and have you had any issues or wished they had done things differently? How is the build quality? Please advise. Thanks.
  4. I don't think more jets & pumps = better tub. I'm looking at build quality and ammenities for the $. These spas are built by Clearwater and as per the manufacturer there is no difference in build standards, components and materials. I was assured by both Clearwater and Divine. Since there is no way I can physically check out the Divine I have to rely on owners and techs opinions and ass/u/me the mfg is on the level. An equivalent Clearwater with the same ammenities but with longer warranty is around $11 to 12K. If you have any info I would greatly appreciated.
  5. Looking for Divine Spas (Costco) Owners and Tech's Reviews on quality, performance, issues? Looking at the DL1040DLX for $8K. Any information helpfull.
