yayaidland
I was given a Freeflow passport spa three days ago. The spa is in great condition. Everything works perfectly except the heater. Today is Saturday, I turned it on Wednesday to heat it up. It started out at 62° it is now at 75°. I have the cover on it while it's been heating but I don't think it's supposed to take this long to heat it a whopping 13° degrees. It is running on 120 voltage. I know that it takes a little bit longer to heat using 120 volts but I wouldn't think a week to get to 100°. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. PreservedSwine
When you look at the topside, does it just show the current temp, or does it alternate a temp with "SLP," "SL," or "Ec"?
yayaidland
It says the current temp. I think I figured it out. When it was converted to 120v a jumper wire was never put on. I put one on but now it pops the breaker after about an hour or if the pump button is pressed to get the jets working fully.
PreservedSwine
You also need to move one of the small dip switches to the low voltage position- if you don't, the pump will run on high speed (14 Amps) while the heater is energized (7.5 Amps) and trip the breaker
