  1. It isn't clear exactly how you are now running your set-up, but it appears that you are trying to run the Chlorinator without running your pump at the same time. The Chlorinator requires that you run the chlorinator with the pump as that is what allows the flow through it. Try running the pump when the Chlorinator is set to be on. As said, it wasn't clear whether you are running the pump at the same time, so apologies if you are
  2. Good news, managed to locate the leak. There was a slight scuff on the liner, which drew in the drops of dye. All patched and curing nicely. I hope it is the only leak in the pool, as it has started raining here in old Blighty, so will be difficult to identify if the pool is still leaking.
  3. Hi, complete novice to these Above Ground Pools, as in the past it has always been a blow up paddling pool!! Now we have just got a Bestway Steel Pro pool 18' x 9'. Set it up playing particular care to the ground that we were placing it on, clearing the area of debris and anything that was sharp. Started to fill with an inch of water, so we could flatten out the base of the pool, when we noticed there was water seeping out from under the base of the liner, onto the groundsheet. As I guess is fairly usual, we couldn't see any signs of where the leak is coming from. We have stopped filling and it seems the way to locate it is to use pool ink (dye). With an inch or so of water, will this method work, as we don't know whether it is a seam that is at fault or whether it is a hole. Then once we have identified the leak(s), we plan to use the Patch repair kits that you can get. So looking forward to getting this all set up, it's a real pain to have to wait and find this leak! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
