  1. Water is topped up. Same issue. I just unplugged the top control panel and started the tub and works fine. Shut off breaker and plugged in top control again, working. New problem. After about 25 seconds the breaker tripped. Turning off breaker and retrying it trips immediately now it's not wet at all and grounds are tight. Wired using #6 wire. The error code appears to be 5567 but the 67 part is lit up in full.
  2. Just filled the hot tub finally after a couple of months and bad weather of jet body and hose repairs. Today i turned on the hot tub and pump #1 starts and send pressure for 1 second then shuts off and then on again sending pressure for 1 second and repeats. Pump 2 works fine. I looked at the circuit board at the same time and i can see 2 relays switching with the on/off issue. There is also a code that appears to be an upside down F (F55) or upside down F (FSS) I think it's 55. Any pointers on what i'm dealing with? Hot tub is a "Pacific 830 S" and electronics are Balboa.
  3. With the tub filled i removed the fitting that sends water up from pump #1 and no water flowed out. On pump #2 i did the same thing and water started coming out soon as it was loosened. If the tub was full how come that one line would have no water in it?
  4. Got my hot tub i refurbished filled with water and no leaks! Problem now is i turn on the breaker and i hear a click from pump #1 and a humm then click again and no more humm. Then it cycles and does the exact same thing on pump #2. The error is FLO. I slowly undid the connections to the pump and water spurted out and resealed. I bypassed the pressure switch to test and no change. What kind of troubleshooting should i do from here ?
  5. Just discovered the main source of the leak from previous owners http://i.imgur.com/YAgvFaY.jpg It looks to have 1 large hose going in the end with 4 smaller ones fed off of it. It looks like an end-piece of some sort. How hard is it to replace ?
  6. Acrylic top, fiberglass bottom. It's the acrylic i'm making a cpl small repairs to.
  7. All the seals are now complete. Next i'm sanding out and doing acrylic repairs to the tub unit then will buff out. Hopefully be ready for a leak test this weekend.

  8. Just redid all the seals on my hot tub. now i want to repair some cracking/small peeling inside the area where the filter goes. Trouble is i can't figure out if the interior tub part (shiny white) is fiberglass/gelcoat/acrylic. Google has not been much of a help. I found the plate and the hot tub model is a Beachcomber 830 S EDIT: nm got my answer
  9. I now have all the jets out and apart. My last question on disassembly is how does this center part come off? There is no threaded nut on the underside.
  10. Ack! Forgot to add yes i unscrewed it from the back (big plastic nut) but took it no further. EDIT - I was able to push it through into the tub as it separated. Now to have pressure wash again to get all the excess silicon off. by hand it's taking forever.
  11. Today i got the jets removed. Now removing the wall fitting from the jet body, clean up around it and add new silicon

  12. I now have all the jet removed. There are 5 of these connections covered by a plastic grill. It's pretty tight and didn't want to break it by too much force. I'm guessing the silicon holding it isn't helping. I just want to verify if this screws out for removal ?
  13. I bought a used hot tub with knowledge that it has leaks. yesss a project! I had it delivered via a crane truck and left sitting up on it's side. the skirting is already in place. i used a lawn etcher to cut alot of the spray insulation out then used a pressure washer to blow the jets and pipes clean so i can reseal everything. The last owner decided to reseal on their own and used a canadian tire grade crappy silicon that was saturated and hanging in parts. Tomorrow (monday) i will b...
