  1. Test your source water to see what you need to balance it. This way you don't get a bunch of stuff you don't need!!! I just want to make sure I understand. I'm going to fill up my tub with my hose ( I really don't have other choices lol ) , so you want me to fill up a bucket and test the water in it in advance ? That's smart... (Ninja smart) Assuming I understand. As for the photos of my set up, I will definitely take before , during and after results! I just can't wait to have it!!
  2. Hey everyone, Well, the search is over people...my mind is set: I am now the new owner of a Jacuzzi J-480 with new J-1000 Audio system with Ipod Station! . Skirting : Roasted Chestnut and with Platinum for the Acrylic ! I would like to thank everyone that posted comments and personal & professional experiences! You help me a lot in my stressful shopping! I can't wait to finally relax in my new baby . In 10 days, approximately ! And trust me, I am counting the days! I would like to ask a final favor to all the expert. I finally made up my mind... now what should I do in the next 10 days waiting? As for the setup and everything. I know i'm going to put it on dust, each dealer said different depth. I was aiming for 8" to play it safe. Electrician is on standby the second the spa is on the ground for a new panel and for the plug-in . What else should I do? Thanks a lot again!!
  3. Thanks for the story...sorry to hear that. I just bought a Jacuzzi J-480 and it will be here in approx 10 days! ;D Gl on your search.
  4. Hi Craig my name is James I am the owner of premier hot tubs in Alpharetta. I sell sundance spas located off of highway 9 just south of Mccfarland road. I have a few models that is in your price range and the size you are looking for. I would like a chance to talk to you if you have the time drop me a email and i will give you my number. premierhottubs@etcmail.com Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. Now that's what I call putting the ''effort'' into his job
  5. Not all spa salespeople are going to BS you like that; many (hopefully most) will be up front with you and not play these types of games. Its ok to have some bias, everyone is to some degree and you have to believe in what you sell but it seems that maybe you just happened to talk to one who was layering it on a bit thick. Ya.... way too thick!! ;( My heart is still aiming at the J-480 ...
  6. Let me know what you think about the wet test plz.
  7. Thanks a lot for everyone's answers . I'm still on the shopping spree ;D
  8. Salesmanship. Ya well, Like I said before on a other post, I am a salesman myself, and that's exactly my point. It sucks to see that everyone targets the salesmen for liars and bs people. I mean, if someone is asking me a question, why the hell would I lie? To get a sell? That's just retarded mentality!! I not I am the ''next generation'' of sales rep and I do my job professionnaly...I guess I'm always hoping every one is doing the same...guess I was wrong... Tssss
  9. Look under the skirt of a Jacuzzi and a Sundance. You would be hard pressed to tell the difference. Meaning what exactly? :/
  10. I would like to know if any expert here knows about this brand. I am trying to get info pretty much everywhere, but It looks like no one is actually buying this! :/ Anyone has something to say? Please do so.
  11. Thank you for the writing. It must be very frustrating for you , and I understand perfectly why... I was going to see the Marquis Spas Brand tonight after work... you can ask me if I'll still go or not Hell no.
  12. Ahhhhh Wannago ... I know what you're talking about. That's the only problem! I hate salesmen....even if I am one myself!! Do you know the warranty on your sound system by any chance?
  13. Can you tell me Firemedic, if you heard anything about the outside Shell in the cold winter? I got told it wouldn't last long compare to a Coast Spa .
  14. I have a 2005 J345 and love it. The whole family uses it every day. Where do you live?
  15. Hey everyone, I am close to a final purchase, I'm still looking around for different brand. Yesterday, I end up talking to a dealer about the jacuzzi brand I was comparing his too. The guy said Jacuzzi SPA are very good in the US, but here in Canada, Ottawa region, our winter will destroy the isolation of the SPA and break a lot faster/easier. Plus the sound system in the model I am looking at J-480 , will not last for long in the cold weather. I know a salesrep need to sell his stuff, but I know not everyone of them are honest. I am not considering Coast Spas brand -- Radiance Lounger. The dealer said to me the outside isolation is made for our weather. It is over 600lbs heavier even if its a lot smaller. I really don't want to get screwed by some lies and I am very worried I'm not going to purchase the quality I'm looking for. I'm paying big buck here, and would be VERY disappointed if I make a bad move. Now I know Jacuzzi bought Sundance (thats what I got told) , and the isolation and outside material is a lot better than the Jacuzzi brand. I am so confused... and very sad, I really don't know what to do. Please advise me and tell me your honest opinion. Thank you very much.
