  1. I have a sundance also I finally removed the check valves becuse they kept failing block the flow of air to the injector.
  2. The check valves for my ozone system on my sundance spa have to be continually replaced. I believe the problem is that being I live in Arizona it gets so hot here that with my heater set low the summer logic kicks in and the circulation pump turns off for long periods of time and without the ozone operating during these periods combined with the hot outside temperature causes the check valves to fail. They fail in a way that the air will not flow thru them. I called the dealer that sold me the spa and they said the ozone is an accessory therefore not covered under the warranty after one year. I told the person I dont think its right that these valves should fail and they said they shouldnt and offered to send a serviceman out but I would have to pay for the call. Well I know that the system is hooked up correctly they hooked it up when it was delivered and it has the loop installed in the line to prevent backflow so I think it is just the poor quality of the sundance check valve. I decided to just remove the valves completely and make the loop high enough so there will be little chance of water bacflowing in the ozone unit. In the process of doing this I lost a little plastic piece that was inserted into the tubing which acted as a diffuser to make the bubbles small . Now with that removed the bubbles are larger and not real tiny like before. Will this lower the effectivity of the ozone and if so where can I can I get one of these diffusers. I cannot locate one anywhere on the internet. I would also like to know if anyone has any other suggestions for a more reliable check vavlve to use.
