I just bought a house with a 10 year old pool which has lagoon steps (steps with seats and jets off the deep end). I am having trouble removing the jets. Everywhere I read that you should just turn counter clockwise all the way and then turn a little more to release, but that is not working. I dont simply think they are tight because I put quite a bit of pressure. Has anyone ever encountered jets like these that are removed in another way? Is a special tool required. Any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated.
