hi i have recently purchased a raypak 155c heater which has been converted to gas and im looking at installing it but there is a sticker on the unit saying about a 110/240 v supply but on closer inspection i cant see where to hook up a supply to it, do these all need a power supply or is it just if its a certain type of stat or igniter

thanks

james

??? Converted to gas? They're all gas...either natural gas or propane. They also require electricity for the control system to operate, either 110v or 240v, hooked properly to the internal transformer. Look in the owners/installation manual for direction. If you don't have the manual, one can be downloaded from the manufacturers website.

Take the front door off the heater, Look on each side of the top of the unit (to the right and left of the main control panel). One side will have what looks like an empty cubby hole, the other will have a sheet metal cover held in place by one 5/16 screw. The x former and high voltage hook up is behind that cover. Typically its on the right side, if the heater is used, it could be on either side to have accomodated the previous electrical connection.
