jameswxm Posted July 10, 2014 Report Share Posted July 10, 2014 hi i have recently purchased a raypak 155c heater which has been converted to gas and im looking at installing it but there is a sticker on the unit saying about a 110/240 v supply but on closer inspection i cant see where to hook up a supply to it, do these all need a power supply or is it just if its a certain type of stat or igniter thanks james Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They also require electricity for the control system to operate, either 110v or 240v, hooked properly to the internal transformer. Look in the owners/installation manual for direction. Pool Clown Posted July 26, 2014 Report Share Posted July 26, 2014 there is a sticker on the unit saying about a 110/240 v supply Take the front door off the heater, Look on each side of the top of the unit (to the right and left of the main control panel). One side will have what looks like an empty cubby hole, the other will have a sheet metal cover held in place by one 5/16 screw. The x former and high voltage hook up is behind that cover. Typically its on the right side, if the heater is used, it could be on either side to have accomodated the previous electrical connection.
