cooljoe51
Last year, my pool filter blew up and dumped about 150 lbs of sand into my above ground pool. Along with that I could not have it rectified in time and algae built up with it too. I'm opening it up again this year and I'm wondering should I just drain it all out and start over? I purchased a brand new sand filter and am ready to go, but I'm not exactly sure how to clean this mess up. Even when I do drain the pool down, how would I get that much sand out of the bottom of the pool? Please let me me know what you think. Thanks!
