How Do I Get My Bromine Tub Back To Awesome? Help!

I have a 2005 Nahanni Glacier Gold hot tub. earlier this year we were away for a few months and while I was gone a relative drained the tub so it sat empty for about month. We filled it when we got back, I used the Aaahhh stuff to try and kill any biofilm, there was minor scum/foam that appeared but way less than I expected.

Since then we were called away again, and just got back, and the water wasn't being treated while we were gone (we have a bromine system). It's been about a month, and when I lifted the cover to see what's been happening the water is clear but there is a mold smell.

The cover is new (just a couple of months old, and has a cover cap). The filter was new. There is no debris or anything in the tub and we had only used maybe 4 times before we left.

We are back now with no travel in the foreseeable.

I need to get the tub back to optimum, so want to know how to go about that.

I am in Canada and can't find anywhere that ships the Taylor 2106 kit here (I believe that's the best kit we should be using for a bromine tub). I have just emailed the Canadian Taylor distributor and asked if they stock it or can obtain as its not on their site. Waiting to hear back.

In the interim I'd like to know what I need to go out and buy to get this tub sorted. And how much of each item for both startup again and ongoing.

I have my manual but it doesn't list the volume of the tub and I can't remember. It's a 4- 6 person tub if I remember correctly (5 seats and a recliner).

I'd love any help advice (I am not going to drain the tub until I get the test kit, might as well at this point, then will use the Ahhh stuff before draining (but I think I need to get the water treated first?).

If any Canadians can chime in that would be helpful as you'll know what is available here that might be different or restricted than in the US but any help is welcome!

Thanks

S.
