  1. The Owners manual doesn't list them but sometimes you get a card (placard) with the tub that has them. The ones I know are (and I've copied the Arctic service dept below for further info) HL- This indicates a High Limit condition. The temperature protection system is reporting that the water temperature has exceeded safe limits, and has shut down the heater. As long as the HL switch is tripped, the heater will not come on, even if the water is actually cooling down. This does not necessarily mean that your water has overheated; there are other factors that can cause this particular report. The first thing to do is to shut off the GFCI breaker for the spa, wait 10 seconds, then turn the breaker back on. This will force a system reboot (yes, your spa is run by a little computer!) and restore all settings to factory default. If this clears up the HL report, all is well. Simply re-enter your filtration cycles and other custom settings. However, if the HL condition remains, or happens again within a short time, please contact your dealer for service. FLO If a "FLO" error message is displayed on your topside control, it means that a pump was running but the system could not detect any water pressure. To protect your spa, the system will shut the pump down. Here are some tips: 1. Remove the filter and run the spa. If the FLO error goes away, clean and/or replace the filter. DO NOT run the spa without a filter. 2. Check water level and refill to approximately 4" below the bottom of the pillows (recommended fill level may vary with model, year, and series. Check with your dealer) 3. Check that all water valves (ball valves) are open. 4. Call your dealer or service supplier if the problem persists. CLE This message is displayed to remind you to clean the filter cartridge on the spa. The display will start blinking with the "CLE". Clear the message by pressing any key on the keypad. Blinking Panel A blinking or flashing display lets you know that a power failure has occurred and all settings have returned to default. After a power-up, on the first 10 seconds the display will alternate between the software number and revision; the display will then blink until somebody presses a key. To correct this, press any key to reset the system. Then reprogram all desired parameters such as filter cycle, set temperature, etc. That all I could find online - I'll check my card at home when I get a chance as well as I think there may be a couple more... Cheers Calvin
  2. We always wear our suits as we have close neighbors but we don't have a problem with foam unless a guest is over that has showered and used to much soap or shampoo. We usually just hang dry our suits and then give them a wash every couple weeks as needed. So far it's been over a year and no issues and every time I take my water into the shop to have them do a test it comes up perfect on the levels. I do monitor and keep my tub chemicals at perfect or near perfect levels almost daily though so that is a factor I'm sure. Cheers
  3. Urbane, Isn't the Tundra 640 gallons (I typo I think on your part) anyway I have one as well and it was an especially cold Jan in Edmonton AB as well. I didn't sit down and figure out what the cost might have been but I think it might have been $30 or $40 for myself - usually it averages $20 to $30 a month just as my sales guy said it would. One of the main reasons I didn't go with other brands I have friends that pay on average $100 month factored over the year and over 10 to 15 years that energy cost can get you a lot of extra hot tub at the time of purchase if you take it into consideration (which i did) Cheers Calvin
  4. I had the flo and pump error and replacement same as you on my Tundra LE. Had it on the second day after the install. My local Edmonton guys came out and fixed it (as well as some other concerns over the following weeks) all with no charge.
  5. Hope you enjoy the Tundra. I liked it a lot more then the Summit myself and I'm not a fan of TA so that was the only option (and now Onzen but that wasn't an option at the time of purchase) I'm missing. Cheers
  6. I own a meter and have always used that in the past. But no spa currently, so no. I have a wood fired sauna with a battery powered light. And I go through a couple sets of batterys each year at about 4 bucks. So far the wood has been free and probably always will be. Does anyone have a link to one of these meters (perfer a dealer / B&M store in Canada if possible) ? Do they require a certified electrician to install or are these able to be done by a "handyman" ? Thanks Calvin
  7. All my pictures have my wife in them and she'd does not take kindly to me posting internet pictures with her in them (the only one I can post is our wedding photo and there is no hot tub in sight) Sorry have to be another member
  8. Good to hear! Enjoy the tub Rich Post up a pic on my set up picture thread once you get it all set up
  9. I have a Arctic Tundra and it holds 7 just as it says it does. 4 corner seats are better then the 3 "center" seats but it still holds 7 fine.
  10. Come on guys - 18,000 members and only 2 posted set up pics... don't be shy!
  11. Rich, Why doesn't the dealer warranty the tub? Is this a private sale from an individual? If so perhaps you can contact the local store and see what it would cost to get a "transfer" of warranty or a new warranty applied. 1.5 years old is still virtually new for a hot tub (IMO). Best of luck Calvin
  12. Just curious...don't you have to get a permit to build a deck and install a hot tub where you are? I know this is required in our province (and likely across the country) to ensure there aren't any "accidents". Once you take in your deck plans and hot tub dimensions if there are any issues the city engineers sort them out long before the first pile is even put into place.
  13. 30 to 60 usually but on the weekends if I have friends over and people are drinking (not myself as I don't drink but I do stay in and chat) it can stretch into several hours with 6 been the most I think we've ever done in one straight session.
  14. Firemedic, Looks great I think your crazy to want to move it outdoors! If you lived in Texas sure but in Manitoba!! That would be crazy your winters are even worse then mine in Alberta and that is saying something. Nice set up though I almost went with a 4 season room and still might (I piled for it just in case) Thanks for sharing the pics Cheers
  15. I thought it would be nice to have a show and tell thread where members could show their Hot tub installations. This should give everyone good ideas and hopefully inspire some members new and old. If you have pictures and wouldn't mind sharing them please post them with details here. (perhaps the mods can sticky the thread to give new owners and potential owners ideas and more) May I also suggest that forum users use Photobucket or a likewise web posting tool to show the pictures in a thumb nail view that people can click on to expand so those with slower down load speeds can have a peek as well with out waiting for minutes for the thread to load. Since I've started this I guess I'd best post mine. (as above - click to enlarge photos) Here is mine - very close to the side door for our cold winters. The deck is EON composite and the Hot tub is the Arctic Tundra LE with most of the options. Glass railing is still to be installed in these photos - should be done next week Finally a photo of the hot tub interior with my water proof MP3 player floating around in action; Looking forward to seeing everyone elses set ups. Cheers Calvin
