alan1 Posted August 27, 2014 Report Share Posted August 27, 2014 have some type of slim / mold / scales in spa. Cant get rid of it, used liquid shock so far, as well as Spaboss Swirl away. chem geek Posted August 27, 2014 Report Share Posted August 27, 2014 Swirl Away is not very good. For removal of greases, oils, and biofilm you should use Ahh-Some. After that and a water change if you maintain chlorine levels you should be able to keep away the mold/slime. What do you do to disinfect your spa? Are you using chlorine regularly adding it after each soak? What kind of chlorine are you using (Dichlor-only, Dichlor-then-bleach, something else?).
