abadsvt Posted May 17, 2015 Report Share Posted May 17, 2015 Hi Everyone! I finally got a used hot tub and the guy I bought it from told me i should replace the ozone generator. So i took out the ozone generator (clear tech s-1200) and googled it. It does .25grams/hr. The pricing i found online was about $350-400. I was curious if i could use a different manufacturer? I found some much cheaper which were in the neighborhood of $150-200. Do i just need to make sure it does the .25g/hr or can it be more? How close should I stay to the original or should I only use the original parts? I really appreciate the help. Last question. We want to use chlorine free chemicals so you don't smell like chlorine after you get out. Any recommendations on companies to look into? Thanks again!
