thanks, was leaning towards not doing it, becuase was worried about intgrity of plaster. just wanted a darker blue color, and don't think "pool paint" would last either.?

I would like to change the color, slightly, of the plaster in my pool. as apposed to re-plaster ( about $3,000.00 ) I was wondering if staining the plaster a darker blue would work??? have spoken to the guy who is going to stain my coping; and he has said that he has never tried to stain a pool, but would be willing to try it ( for cost of materials only, about $150.00 ) Has anyone tried this?? or is this crazy??
