All spa brands have problems, no matter how much you pay.
Good luck.

As hot-water said! ---good luck---- its 10 degrees out your on your knees at the spa on the phone with a 1-800 number, the person you are talking with is in a warm room your outside? think about it.
By the way, like you I probably couldn't bring myself to return a 2001 spa for a refund.
Good luck.

Whats the cost of returning the spa??(moving it)
I want to thank everyone for their replies.... Even though I stated I wanted to hear from people who own this product.... Which I haven't... Anyways, I am now convinced it is just easier to buy him a sauna, no chemicals, no maintence same benefits.
I have used one.thats why i dont own one.there ok if you live where its warm.
For as it is always said, when you get old they will treat you the same way that you have treated them, Or worse!! they could buy you a spa in a box...
I'm going to be nice to my kids from now on
Seattle??? so yes? I'm just looking for something that he could enjoy the hot water and sooth his aches, and use it from time to time... I have mentioned a real hot tub...but he doesn't know how long he is going to live there and would like something he could pick up and take to his girlfriends... I realize this is not a quality hot tub... I have a hot spring myself...And one more question... Does anyone know how noisey these things r?
I did not know you lived in seattle?? if you must get him a portable spa, look at round ones with real heaters.this is what i did.there easier to move.
Hi Oasis, Funny thing I was just in a store last week called Oasis that sells Hot Springs and Limelight. The insulation from what I understand has changed in Limelight, maybe one dealer didnt know that.
What did it change to?
Look at the Crown xl by nordic.i think its the best spa in its class and price range.there are others as Roger mention that deserve looking at also. Wet test all you can.

Looking forward to seeing if it looks up to it's reputation on this site.
I ordered the 4" to 6" Double wrapped styrofoam, seal down the middle one.it keeps the heat in.
