  1. yes before the guy started to work on my tub he said correct tech was junk. thanks for the info
  2. my hot tub heater will not turn on. i have had my pressure switch replaced. i have had the element replaced. the heater will still not turn on. the repair person wants to replace the board for around $800. i am amazed there is not a better way to trouble shot an issue besides replacing everything in site. i found this web site called spa-boards .com they rebuild boards for $135. has anyone ever used them before? any comments would be appreciated. the tub runs on 240 and has correct tech guts. thanks
  3. it turned out to be a pressure switch. i had that replaced and the seals on the motor replaced. the tub is been heating since monday night and is only at 76 degrees. i removed the filters to see if that will speed it up. i have my doubts and believe there is a problem with the element even though it is getting pleanty of power.
  4. i have an ohms reading between 1 - 2. based on this i assume my heating element is done. can anyone verify this?
  5. the heater light is off. i bought a voltage meter today but it was to dark out to use it. what should i be testing for with the voltage meter? thanks for your time
  6. i have a hydro spa Z series. all pumps and blowers work. it will not heat past 91 degress. any thoughts as to what the problem maybe and how to trouble shoot issue? thanks for your time
  7. i bought a used spa and want to replace the cover lifter. the current model looks like the cover rock it but it has a large bolt located on the bottom of two sides to mount the lifter too. when i look at the cover rock it it looks like you mount some sort of bracket to the tub. i would like to use the exisiting bolts to mount the lifter system. the tub was manufactored in 2006. can anyone guess what the brand name of the lifter system is? thanks for your time
