I have a Proline Sand Filter.. I went to change the sand today and found out that the piece that holds the fingers together is cracked.. I cannot find the pipe for that part. Does anyone have any idea where I can find this.. its been one thing after another.. New liner last week.. New pump this week and now this ... Ready to toss it all

Hello, I bought a house last summer with a above ground 24' pool. The pool was severley neglected. It was never closed from the summer before. When I bought it it was green as the grass with lots of water beatles in it.. I decided to try and use it the last three weeks of last summer. No matter what I did I could not get it past a sea foamy green color.. I gave up.. I put a bunch of liquid shock in it and covered it... I can now see the bottom (cover is still on) All the alge has floated to the bottom. Looks like a pond.. Along with some goggles etc... The pool store told me to add water to the pool with the cover still on.... ( I am doing that right now)... I have reservations that the water will become more murky and I wont be able to see the goggles etc that are on the bottom. Please help this pool was so bad that the alge scared the liner... PS I have a well .... So I may have metals in my water... I appriciate any advice you can give me.
