Need advice on re-plumbing my pool. In the process of re-plastering my 45 year old Paddock pool, I was told my return lines were cooper. Very bad for plastered pool. In order to correct the problem I was quoted $12,000. The cost breakdown is $4,500 to cut 2' x 110' linear trench around pool perimeter, add 6 pvc returns, 2 new skimmers, and 2 drain lines
All the seals are now complete. Next i'm sanding out and doing acrylic repairs to the tub unit then will buff out. Hopefully be ready for a leak test this weekend.
Today i got the jets removed. Now removing the wall fitting from the jet body, clean up around it and add new silicon
I bought a used hot tub with knowledge that it has leaks. yesss a project! I had it delivered via a crane truck and left sitting up on it's side. the skirting is already in place. i used a lawn etcher to cut alot of the spray insulation out then used a pressure washer to blow the jets and pipes clean so i can reseal everything. The last owner decided to reseal on their own and used a canadian tire grade crappy silicon that was saturated and hanging in parts. Tomorrow (monday) i will b...
