Hot Tub with/without a lounge

We are looking, and looking, to buy a hot tub. So many have a lounge. Years ago I tested out one with a lounge and I floated, That was not for me. Fast forward 10 years, and design with technology has improved tubs. We would like to hear your experience regarding tub with or without a lounge and more importantly which brand spa is really the best for your dollar. We are looking at mid-range for pricing.
