If it's the black piece, the end of the heater element. I called Watkins MFG. the maker of the heater, and asked them why i had to spend $300 for a new heater for a $10 piece of plastic. the guy I spoke to actually sent me a replacement part for free. In the mean time I used a 2 part epoxy resin and clamped the parts and filled the base of it with the resin, is looks like it will work just fine, but now I have a new one so I have a spare just in case
