  1. Dave- Thanks for all the help. I got home from work last night with and found that through me knocking a wire off initially or it being wired 'wrong' but working on 110v one of the pump wires was on the opposite side of the circuit, causing the fuse to blow. She's pumping and warm. Joe
  2. No, I'm using slo blo ceramics, duplicates of the stock ones. It's extremely frustrating on my end. I figure its some combination of the jet 1 &2 jumper and the software 'dipswitches'. I'm about out of fuses until Amazon makes a delivery. The lack of manufacturer information on the internet is quite annoying.
  3. Browsing through the setup menu via the SW1 button on the panel I can confirm the spa knows its getting 230v. Browsing some more I see what the soft jumpers on the panel were for. After writing them all down and putting the tub back to default settings per the cover, fuse one still blows on powerup. The only other information I was able to find is that J3 needs to be set to + to allow the heater to work at maximum capacity when running 220v.
  4. Motor looks fine all around. The tub was up and running until about 3 weeks ago. I used the factory 115v power cored and put power directly to the pump, no problems on either high or low speed. Heater is working and temperature is coming up. But now I am getting an F1 code on the front display.
  5. Here is what the panel looks like: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/jo_LLAh3G-pru2-PKT4yVChrL5c4oneFMDjkL_FFUwRR4_R58gSASdJM8wqhfuRLNeCmsDRhzyg6rX6YoCUjQvNu0O-aSO96ni5Ddb5e04gE4PyCAPamRN9oIOxed7TJcyRXItx-30FahHI27Ko6VN_1vEBgZ7Dw40GlVY6RZiDeNTZPblmt95jgNLASZEOhRokbvRP-_y_6hixym6uPrlS5KAZfYAQYSjB5NO2taGTyKuNfx_BtncHWVu4KvHF2977yC6wPVTw1VqT9y88ZuZMQnAa-qWhjLS8Al5FjEz20FQKp3viHWEQAegEkj4XwxuqiI09GwXXsPOmBBgNwONtzUj8EsaatMsaF7caK-jyg-N-N3fH2WAsQmNK-dQKweMSo4NlqAnBjMKau4rf53abYpbCvmAUYmhgZfpcvoMMn0V4QdtsSXs2vruCMvyaJnwImQDQIk-GS6FaG7SqHmfL_45vWxSU7Fw-gZo3O8ZWnHcrD52tU1WBfeqGDwuwuNWWwi6UtKtN_daiSmhe8mmOycdyyGRSy-jo88JpXcFLKIfnkLONMQSZ3I6iBs-uazxZyfzZ4XWDr2iN_vAgbAm0L6qQKlTwcDINuE-wMSI8S-0j81W0y=w1180-h885-no
  6. Here are the jumper configuration from the cover panel, a detailed wiring diagram I was able to track down, and the relevant section from the owner's manual. The previous homeowner had the GFCI hooked up for the hot tub. Multimeter shows two 120v line sources coming into the hottub, so power is there and clean. Breaker hasn't been tripping, just fuse one.
  7. My inlaws are moving and were nice enough to give my wife and I there 2014 Caldera Vacanza Series Aventine, two person spa. Our house already had 230v 50 amp GFCI service on the patio so I figure it would be pretty easy to convert the spa from 115v to 230v. Boy was I wrong. I pulled the terminal jumper between L2 and N, ran in my 8 gauge wire and the only function that works is the light-no jets, presumably no heat. Upon further investigation this morning I found that Fuse 1 is blowing immediately upon power to the spa, but Fuse 2 stays intact. The display shows a pressure switch error. The owner's manual 'helpfully' mentions that that a tech needs to install soft jumpers to reconfigure the heater and pump to work concurrently, but lacks the specifics. I'd be grateful for any advice, as the local dealer did not want to be of assistance on the phone and the next available service appointment is 10 days and $120 down the road. I'd like to be enjoying the fruits of my labor instead of watching a 150 gallon puddle of water hold down my patio.
